Personal Information Collection Statement
We collect necessary information during registration, student profile setup, learning material uploads, learning-room use, subscriptions, payments and support. We use it to provide learning services, generate plans, keep learning records, process payments, support users, perform safety review and improve the service.
Children’s Data and Parental Consent
The service is intended to be opened and managed by parents or guardians. Students under 18 should use it with parental or guardian consent and supervision. We do not infer emotion, personality, health, intelligence or sensitive identity from a child’s image, voice, gaze or posture.
Privacy Policy
We may store parent name, contact details, email, student name, grade, language preference, course plans, uploaded images/files, AI chats, learning records, subscription and payment status. Data is used to provide, maintain and improve StarMap Learning, or shared where necessary for legal compliance, payment processing, cloud hosting, security and risk control.
Retention and Deletion
Users may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal data. Account deletion may also delete linked student profiles, knowledge assets, learning records and plans. Some transaction records may be retained for accounting, audit, dispute or legal purposes.
Terms of Service
StarMap Learning provides AI-assisted learning, question capture, learning plans, a knowledge library and learning records. AI output is for learning support and may be inaccurate; it does not replace school teachers, formal assessment or parental judgment. Users must not upload illegal, infringing, violent, sexual, bullying or irrelevant sensitive content.
Payment, Trial and Refunds
Subscriptions are charged per child. Standard is HK$299/month and Pro is HK$499/month. A six-month semester payment includes one document camera after successful payment. New users may use a one-month free trial. Refund handling depends on payment channel, service usage, gift fulfilment and applicable Hong Kong requirements.
